"I have always enjoyed coming to the Mazátlan Restaurant ever since I was little. I've always loved the amazing hospitality, kindness, and hard work shown by the staff. From the hostesses, to the cooks. I've always been so grateful that I had a place to go to that reminded me a lot of home and made me feel welcome. For the food, I don't even know where to begin. The dishes are always excellent. And there are many options to choose from. The menu is always able to give you options, as well as asking the staff for other options as well. And if it's your birthday, don't worry the Mazatlan is there to celebrate with you too! Finally the ambiance is truly unique. From the decorations to the paintings, it feels authentically Mexican and you get a good vibe of being at home, traveling to a new place, or visiting your family simply by walking in. Overall, the Mazatlan is an amazing restaurant with amazing workers who truly love helping people and who love what they do. That is rare to find in a restaurant nowadays and I think that is what makes the Mazátlan Mexican Restaurant an excellent place to visit."

"For reference I got the fiesta platter. The food is authentic Mexican food all the way down to the beans. The beans weren’t refried they were fresh out of the pot and delicious. The salsa is a good mixture it’s not too spicy but if you’re expecting ketchup that’s not the case here. The meat in the taquitos were tender and juicy. I took a bit to taste the nachos but standard nachos as good as nachos can be. The quesadilla was super cheesy and great for dipping into the salsa from the initial chips salsa AND beans you get once you sit down. Now let’s talk about the beauty of this restaurant. From the moment you walk in you’re slapped in the face with Mexico. The ambience is like sitting inside your abuelas house while she’s in the kitchen cooking tortillas for you guys to eat and catch up on life. Everything about this place feels like home. You get a real feel of what it’s like living inside a home in Mexico. The architecture is absolutely gorgeous and the little decorations around the restaurant just add that extra charm. If you’re Mexican and you want to go somewhere that’s beautiful it’s a home away from home. I enjoyed my experience and I hope you do too. P.S. Mazatlán is a Mexican candy if you ever want to try it. I won’t say what kind of candy or what to expect but I hope you like it because it’s only in Mexico you’ll find a treat like that."

"We just wanted Mexican food. Mazatlan was the first restaurant we came to. So glad we stopped! Happy hour starts at 2:00. The special board as we came in said gorditas $16. OMG! We both got it and should have shared one order! Delicious! As were the $8 happy hour house margaritas. The service was good and the place is gorgeous!"

"I have been here actually 3 times since I have moved to Redmond Oregon, it has been my go to place to celebrate small victories that I have overcome since my move. The service is fast and the food is excellent, my recent visit was with my daughter and we had the ceviche and the guacamole, a small salad and the deluxe tostada to share. We were not disappointed they actually made the guacamole in front of us so it was definitely fresh, I would recommend it highly. I didn’t take pictures because I was with my daughter and we were just enjoying our time however, the week before I had that tortilla soup and the small tostada dinner plate, which was absolutely delicious. I did take pictures since I was alone."
